Originally from Moultrie, Georgia, Owen brings over a decade of wealth management expertise to SafeWater Investment Management. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2013, where he was a dedicated student-athlete on the men’s Swimming and Diving team, Owen moved to Atlanta to launch his career as a financial advisor.
For eight years, Owen honed his skills at Morgan Stanley, developing deep expertise in comprehensive financial planning and investment management. However, it was in 2023 that he and his longtime friend and former teammate, Craig Jennings, realized an opportunity to build a more personalized, boutique practice of their own, built upon the shared principles of their athletic backgrounds.
The discipline, focus, and goal-oriented mindset that defined Owen’s athletic career continue to shape his approach to wealth management. The same dedication that drove him to 5:00 AM practices and competitive excellence now fuels his commitment to helping clients achieve their financial goals through consistent, process-driven strategic planning.
Owen and his wife Amber live in Decatur, Georgia, with their dog Tucker. Outside of the office, Owen remains deeply connected to his athletic roots, continuing to be involved in the local diving community. He is also a regular participant in various events supporting the cystic fibrosis community, a cause close to his heart.
